Ever notice your water looking a little… off? 🚰👀

Cloudy or discolored water can definitely catch you off guard—but it doesn’t always mean there’s a plumbing problem.

💭 Cloudy or milky water
Often caused by tiny air bubbles. If you fill a glass and it clears within a minute or two, it’s usually nothing to worry about.

🟠 Yellow, orange, or brown water
Rust or sediment may be behind the color. If it happens briefly and clears after running the water, it may be temporary. If it sticks around or keeps coming back, it’s worth looking into.

🔵 Blue or green water
This can sometimes point to copper plumbing or corrosion and shouldn’t be ignored.
So, when should you call a plumber? 🔧

Give us a call if the discoloration doesn’t clear up, keeps returning, suddenly appears throughout your home, or is accompanied by an unusual smell, taste, or other changes. Dillon and I snuck away for a strawberry-picking date at Elk Ridge Naturals in Clark Fork last weekend and we had a blast! And let me tell you, the strawberries are DELICIOUS!!! 🤤🍓
Strawberry picking was a yearly tradition for me when I lived in Germany, so getting to experience it here made it extra special. 🇩🇪🇺🇸
This year, Elk Ridge Naturals is also offering a variety of veggies. It’s such a fun family experience and definitely worth stopping by! We’ll back! 🍓
