Here are the last few pictures from the Upper Smith Fire that I took. The two pictures of the trees torching were taken by a fellow water tender operator. The water tender and I are home until the next call.

Friday was my last day on the Turner Fire. At the end of shift, the neighborhood and two girls on horseback with a Canadian and American flag lined the road handing out handmade cards, snacks and drinks. It was a very cool way to end a fire.

Saturday was my first day on the Upper Smith Fire. I spent the day running 10 loads of water (or 28000 gallons) filling tanks that are running sprinklers for structure protection. The last two pictures are from Upper Smith Fire.

We hosted another awesome Aerial Rescue Class taught by David Stice and Nick Merriman. Grace Tree Service from Cda came up for the class as well. We always enjoy meeting and collaborating with other arborists in our area. Definitely a fun day of learning. Thanks again Dave and Nick!
