This community health clinic and dental will be very nice for the Margaretta community. We were happy to provide architectural/engineering services for Erie County Health Department to renovate this building from Board of Education offices into this community clinic.

The Erie County Community Health Center and the Erie County Health Department recently announced the official opening of the Margaretta School-Based Health Center.

Now open, this new facility, located at the Margaretta Schools' board office, 305 S. Washington St. in Castalia, is designed to provide students, staff and the surrounding community with convenient access to high-quality health care: https://tinyurl.com/mtykmyf3

We’re excited to share that Brian Stanley, AIA has been promoted to Partner at Schmid Architects, Inc.

Since joining the firm, Brian has played a key role in advancing our design practice through strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep commitment to client service. His thoughtful, solutions-driven approach—along with prior experience in the design-build environment—brings a practical, construction-aware perspective that continues to elevate our work.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Architecture from the Boston Architectural College. He is a licensed Architect in Ohio and holds NCARB certification.

“Brian’s leadership, design perspective, and commitment to our clients have made a significant impact on our firm,” said Greg Schmid, Principal. “His promotion to Partner reflects the trust we place in him and the important role he will continue to play in shaping the future of Schmid Architects.”

Brian lives in Sandusky with his wife, Amber, and their two daughters and is actively involved in the local community.
