Introducing our Office Manager Megan!

I have had the privilege of working at Bull Run Electric for nearly seven years. I am proud to be part of a dedicated team that values friendly, honest communication and exceptional service. Serving the Sandy community (and beyond!) is both meaningful and rewarding, and I truly enjoy building relationships with our clients.
In my role, I coordinate projects and manage the day-to-day administrative operations that keep our growing electrical company running smoothly. Supporting a thriving business in an ever-evolving industry presents both challenges and opportunities, and I find that work incredibly fulfilling.
A lifelong Oregonian, I grew up in the Willamette Valley and moved to Sandy in 2013 after my husband and I purchased our first home. We are raising our three wonderful children here, along with our quirky Golden Retriever. In my free time, I enjoy reading and tackling DIY home improvement projects—though the list never seems to get shorter! As a family, we love exploring the outdoors and riding at the dunes.

Introducing our Journeyman Braden!

I started my apprenticeship with Bull Run in 2019! In 2024, I officially got my Journeyman license! I have worked for Bull Run for almost 7 years!

Bull Run is super family orientated and I couldn’t ask for a better crew and boss.

When I am not working, I spend my time with my wife and two kids. My first daughters name is Mayci and she is 2 years old. We also welcomed our son Bowdy this November! I also enjoy hunting and spending time outdoors!

I have over 30 years of experience as an electrician and take great pride in delivering quality service to my customers. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing the satisfaction and relief on a customer’s face after resolving their electrical issue. Bull Run Electric has been my favorite company to work for, as it fosters a strong team environment and a genuine family atmosphere.

Introducing one of our Journeyman Kris!
I began my apprenticeship in 2002 in Newport. After getting my Journeyman license in 2007, I moved to Gresham with my wife Brooke in 2008. I have worked for Kyle at Bull Run since 2016 and haven’t looked back. I enjoy the variety of work we do here at Bull Run. From residential remodel and new construction. To commercial and industrial work. Kyle has built a great company and the camaraderie at the shop is second to none! When I’m not at work I spend most of my time coaching my kids in the different sports they play. Bull Run is a great place to work. Michael Horner

Electrician since 2008. Started my apprenticeship at Bull Run Electric, stepped out for a couple years, then returned in 2011 and never left. Bull Run is where I earned my Journeyman and Supervisor licenses—and where I still love showing up every day.

The job keeps it exciting: big commercial/industrial projects one day, emergency storm power restoration the next. Nothing beats seeing lights come back on for families after a disaster. Kyle Ruthardt runs a great crew—supportive, fun, and easy to work for.

Outside work, I’m coaching my two daughters in sports or out hunting and fishing in Oregon’s beautiful outdoors. My wife and I have called Sandy home for 16 years (she’s a local dental hygienist). I’ve built strong friendships and relationships here—proud to live, work, and give back in this community.
