The season is in full swing! Now is the time to apply pre-emergent w**d killer. If you haven’t done it already, try to get your pre-emergent down within the next two weeks. You can try what’s available at Lowe’s and Home Depot, or give us a call, and we will deliver and install a commercial grade pre-emergent. 910-489-5239

What is the purpose of a pre-emergent application? What should I expect?

A. The majority of w**ds you see in your yard now are cool weather w**ds. The high temperatures of the coming weeks will kill most of that naturally. Pre-emergent will wash into the soil and kill the w**ds that are beginning to germinate now before they come up. Kill before w**ds emerge from the surface = “pre-emergent”.
B. The product we use is time-released and also includes fertilizer for these spring temperatures. In mid May we will come through with a stronger fertilizer.
