Just getting around to posting some finished pictures.

With THIS custom home the owner was budget minded. We worked with them to reach their financial goals ; while sticking with basic finishes and not compromising with the items that matter.

In floor heat
Polished cement floors
Excellent insulation
Good windows
Finished garage space that doubles as a man cave

Clean & crisp

With the Navian combination boiler and on demand hot water heater We're figuring them to use about 4- 4.5 gallons of propane per day to heat the house and garage. Along with

One of the fun things we get to do for some of our projects is also build custom pieces of furniture, barn doors, and cool gates.

Say (Hypothetically) You buy grandmas house and need an addition there is an oak tree that you used to have a tire swing in when you were a kid that needs to come down for the project...
We remove the tree turn it into boards and build you a custom bed from the wood. And we keep the swing section all in tact mount that in your living room so you have the same swing in side forever... "hypothetically" =)

If you dream it or have an idea..." Yea we CAN do that.."

We are suspending our outside operations.

That said, we have crews available to handle any inside projects that you may have ... unless you're in a costal or island town then we can do any projects...

We have the best customers...

Last weekend I had to do a service call for a pesky pocket door at a recent new build. It wasn't operating as it should and a few adjustments and it's back in business.

While there- I was remembering and reflecting on the process.

I take pride in the process.

We become like family with most of our customers. Especially on the larger custom projects.
I don't always get it right but I try to be flexible and listen and provide insight and my two cents to help bring their vision to life. That process takes time. And most of the time the pace is set by the home owners.

Generally with our custom home projects, from the time of the initial phone call is answered, through the design process, generating construction drawings, permits, getting started with construction through move in day the process can take 2 + years.

It seems to work well with most. It may seem like a long time but it provides time for folks to think through all aspects of the project and get exactly what they want.

During that process. We get the pleasure of getting to know the families.

At the end of my first in home meeting with this young family. I was presented with the rendering of the house plan and the vision of the floor plan through the eyes of a 5 year old... I listened to her and made sure I understood the expectations. I put her drawing in the job folder for future reference.

She seems content with the results... At least I haven't heard otherwise...🤓 . I THINK we did pretty good.
