On today’s episode of, Oh Boy, You Called Us Just In Time: This garage door customer was complaining about his door being extremely squeaky and the opener being louder than usual.

We performed a full l**e & tune service and found some locked up bearings not operating smoothly which was ⚠️ shaving off metal ⚠️ every time the door was opening and closing. We replaced the bearing and l**ed everything that was metal on metal. Now the door is running smooth, quiet, and safe again. ✅

Regular garage door maintenance is crucial because it prevents premature wear, protects your opener, and saves you from costly repairs down the road. If this customer had called us, it could have been a very dangerous situation with a crashed door.

I’ll tell you What’s Going On, Marvin. The spring broke, causing the door to slam on the floor enough to shatter the glass window below. Luckily no one was hurt.

Another reason why preventative maintenance is crucial. We could’ve caught this spring before it broke and saved my customer some money.
