Today weā€™re in the city of La Habra, CA to fix broken springs and a hung garage door. This customer tried to install his own springs and luckily no one was hurt but the garage door did get stuck in the open position. I always encourage DIY garage door projects but anything that has to do with the torsion system or the springs themselves, I say, please call a professional. We make it look easy because it is easy to us but it is extremely dangerous if you do not know what you are doing. The garage door is the number one reason homeowners end up in the hospital.
