If there were 10 stars... I would give the project Deluna Decorative Concrete did for me, all 10 stars!
From the first appraisal of the job, Leo the owner, has been excellent to work with. Several other contractors had said my patio repair job "couldn't be done!". That "ripping out the entire patio and having it redone" was the only solution.
However, I wanted to keep the patio I have, and have the buckled portion repaired..and keep the existing patio.
Leo saw within minutes of appraising the buckled area.. what had to be done to carefully cut out the buckled portion..lift it out.. cut out the roots underneath..pour some concrete in for support..lay the cut out patio portion back in..and level it. It's Beautiful, Solid and Level.
In addition to the repaired section, he removed all the broken mortar on the rest of the patio, stained the concrete a perfectly re-freshed color by mixing several combinations.. (He has an eye for color mixing that is amazing).. then put in all new concrete mortar..and sealed.
I basically have a brand new (old) patio! NO sign of any buckled or repaired portion..It's fresh and clean and ready for the Holidays ahead!
My patio is important to me..and Leo treated my wishes for "repair" with respect. I really appreciated that after being told it couldn't be done.
