Craftsmanship comes first at TBS Design Gallery.

The mission has always been clear: to bring exceptional craftsmanship to the Northern California design community without compromise.

That commitment continues with the announcement of an exclusive partnership that marks an exciting new chapter for the gallery. TBS is now the exclusive Northern California partner for John Michael Studio, one of the most respected and quietly influential names in American luxury cabinetry.

Many clients and designers already know this work, even if the name feels new. John Michael Studio is the American cabinetry maker trusted by La Cornue for its U.S. collections, blending heritage with precision engineering and fully bespoke design.

This partnership opens the door to something rare: unrestricted access to John Michael Studio’s complete custom portfolio. No preset options. No reduced palettes. Just cabinetry designed around the architecture, the home, and the way people live.
TBS Design Gallery looks forward to welcoming clients to experience this craftsmanship firsthand and to explore what’s possible when design is approached without compromise.

💫As we close out 2025, we're less focused on milestones and more grateful for the people who made this year meaningful. Our growth came through intention, in conversations, collaborations, and the way design continues to bring people together.
To our TBS community, our team, partners, and customers, thank you! Your trust, support, and willingness to co-create make everything we do possible. Together, we've brought beautiful design and craftsmanship to life, pushed boundaries, and continued learning. Without you, we wouldn't be able to grow.
From gathering in Paris with La Cornue during Déco Off to ongoing dialogue at Salone del Mobile in Milan, this year reaffirmed our belief that heritage, innovation, and contemporary living belong together.
A defining moment of 2025 was the launch of Belgian Design Days, in collaboration with Fedustria and FIT - Flanders Investment & Trade. This initiative reflects years of relationship-building and a shared commitment to thoughtful, human-centered design and marks an important evolution of TBS within the global design community.
As technology and sustainability continue to shape our industry, we remain guided by clarity, responsibility, and human judgment, believing that progress matters most when rooted in purpose.
It has been an honour to be on this journey with you in 2025. We look forward to growing together in 2026, guided by our values of Tenacity, Benevolence, and Satisfaction.

With gratitude,
Liana & Mamuka

Design. Innovation. Sustainability. These aren’t just words they’re the heart of “From Belgium to the Bay”, our recent panel uniting visionary leaders across architecture, landscape, and manufacturing.

Our esteemed panelists Jonathan Feldman, FAIA, LEED AP, Sarah Warto, Maxim De Vriese, and Karla Basselier shared ideas on how craftsmanship, purpose, and innovation shape the spaces we live in.

Amid these inspiring conversations, we unveiled Belgian Design Days 2026 - a celebration of Belgian creativity bridging continents and cultures. Born from our collaboration with Fedustria, Flanders Investment & Trade - USA, and the Belgian Economic Mission led by Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid, this initiative highlights design that moves, inspires, and connects.

At TBS Design Gallery, we’re proud to spark these moments of collaboration and imagination, shaping the future of design and sustainability together.

🙏🏻Grateful to our partners Fedustria, FIT - Flanders Investment & Trade, RENSON Ventilation - Sunprotection - Outdoor, Royal Botania, Heatsail, Reynaers Aluminium and Umbrosa for making this milestone possible.

Join us on this journey as we continue building bridges through design.

Starting in 2026, this collaboration will bring Belgian Design Days to the Bay Area, marking a historic moment in cross-continental partnership, uniting Belgian innovation with California creativity. To be recognized among 18 pioneering Flemish agreements that bridge design, technology, and education is an incredible honor for our team.
This moment reflects what we’ve always believed that the American Dream is still alive, and that with integrity, trust, kindness, and hard work, anything is possible.

At the ClimateTech ’25: Technologies for Action conference in San Francisco, experts gathered to explore innovative solutions for a more sustainable built environment. Among the many topics discussed, the role of single-family homes in advancing sustainability stood out. Despite making up 90% of U.S. buildings and over 60% of total built square footage, they have often been overlooked in green design initiatives.

A recent AIA California article, “Realizing The High-Performance Potential of Single-Family Homes,” highlights why integrating sustainable design into these homes is essential for reducing carbon emissions and improving resilience. We appreciate Jonathan Feldman, FAIA, LEED AP, for his contributions to this topic, along with his co-authors Corey Squire, AIA, and Marisol Sanchez Foreman, AIA, CPHD, who are helping to advance these ideas. At the conference, Feldman Architecture Sustainability Manager Ben Welty contributed to the Climate Tech in the Office panel at the Center for Architecture + Design, San Francisco, offering insights into sustainability strategies across different building types.

At TBS Design Gallery, we’re passionate about helping architects and builders discover innovative solutions in fenestration and sun protection. While our products are designed to meet the highest standards of sustainability and performance, there’s still a gap in awareness. By bringing these solutions to the forefront, we can all play a role in transforming both residential and commercial projects into models of environmental responsibility.
