DJ Shadow Angel has been part of The Box family for 19+ years and has been battling cancer while undergoing medical treatment for over 10 years.
Every Sunday, he continues to DJ with his heart and soul, giving so much to our community. Now it’s our turn to give back. 🖤

We’re raising funds to help with transportation to and from his medical treatments.

Tonight support a cause, team SF Goth, founded in 1999, is the longest-running and most-funds-raised of the independent, non-corporate teams for AIDS Walk SF. We have raised over $75,000 for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation to benefit multiple organizations around the Bay Area serving those living with HIV/AIDS, and to seek a cure. We keep at it, with more participants every year, until the job is done!

This Sunday, we’re excited to welcome the talented and experienced SamSonic — the Santa Carla Vampire of Cat Alley! Join us for a great time as we bid you welcome.

Introducing resident Beat Alchemists DJ and Founder, DJ SamSonic, AKA DJ SamHell (Decadent Oasis / Snarklefarkers / Beat Alchemists): a musician, DJ and producer who blends decades of underground influence with rule-breaking and genre-bending. Inspired by his roots in punk, early deathrock, goth and industrial nights at The Krypt and Zombie Zoo, he evolved from various dark bands to industrial, which led to mixing EDM. He quickly began spinning vinyl DJ sets, spanning breakbeats, deep house, and experimental soundscapes. Each set — from Santa Cruz residencies at the beautiful, world class Cat Alley Street to Burning Man and Unscruz — is a journey, taking audiences to unexpected musical landscapes.
