When you hear a smoke detector chirping, you probably think it needs its batteries changed. Most people will change the battery for the smoke detector that is beeping, but because they are interconnected the one beeping might not be the one that needs to be changed. Smoke Detectors also have expiration dates that are generally printed on the back. They are normally good for 10 years.

They didn’t realize that their kids could reach the ceiling fan from the top bunk. So, we helped them find a smaller fan with a different design that was much safer for the room.
