Job Location – Santa Maria California
Read and comprehend project plans and specifications. Comparing to company production practices. - quote
projects - develop takeoffs and shop drawings with both company software and Auto CAD. – follow up on
awarded bids - Complete submittal, RFI, or quote corrections. Maintain and update CAD standard detail files
along with company drawings. - Verify completion of project and follow job production status.
Candidate must meet these requirements:
Proficient in AUTO-CAD, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Web browser and file formatting. Candidate needs
to be self-motivated, very organized and detail oriented. Must have excellent communication skills, ability to
meet deadlines, and to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
 Ensures product specifications are accurate per agreed upon requirements with customers and
coordinates with production teams in the manufacturing of quality precast products and final delivery to
ensure customers are fully satisfied. Ensures drawings, blueprints, purchase orders and any data are
accurate per agreement. Communicates with customers to ensure that mutually agreed upon purchase
orders clearly specifies terms and conditions and all products requested clearly specify requirements
per drawings and plans to ensure the project is carried out efficiently, accurately, and per deadline.
 Manages the sales order process directly to provide accurate direction for production. Coordinates with
production and inventory to determine pour schedule needs and proper scheduling of such requested
products. Communicates directly with customers on date product can be manufactured and ready for
delivery, changes to orders, add-ons, and any other issues that may arise during manufacturing
process. Communicates with customer and dispatch to ensure delivery date is scheduled per
customer needs and product is ready to be delivered as requested.
 Produces an accurate bill of materials (BOM) for precast concrete structures being planned for
production. Inputs the BOM into the current manufacturing software to reflect an accurate accounting
of the cost associated with each product being manufactured on a job by job basis.
Qualifications
 Preferred Education: Associate degree
 Preferred Experience: Between 1 and 2 years
 Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the construction industry.
 Proficient with Microsoft Office (Email, Spreadsheet, Word Processor) - Required
 Working knowledge of plans, prints, drawings, and detailed plan specifications per customer
requirements - Required
 Preferred Working knowledge of Precast products and/or experience in Construction related field.

Description
Makes quality concrete products in a safe and timely manner by operating various tools and equipment
to complete different job functions based on pre-determined schedule.
Responsibilities
 Demonstrates willingness to take direction and follows instructions.
 Advises supervisor of any issues after daily inspections of the forms are completed.
 Maintains a clean, organized, safe work area at all times.
 Performs a variety of production duties including but not limited to: setting up the forms for prepour inspections, removing excess concrete, and cleaning forms; installing the correct size
spacers, knockouts, rebar, mesh, etc.; bolting and unbolting forms with hand and/or power tools
to prepare for stripping operations.
 Reads production schedules, drawings and recognizes whether the product is set up properly;
sets up the form as indicated in the production drawing with correct bill of materials; makes
indicated modifications to the set-up as necessary.
 Places concrete into the forms after passing pre-pour inspection; consolidates concrete in
accordance with the quality control procedures.
 Finishes concrete with various floats or other concrete tools; properly applies curing treatments.
 Clean work area by sweeping excess debris, rock, dirt, and steel to assure work area is safe
from hazards.
 Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
 Preferred Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
 Ability to read and interpret production drawings
 Proficient in utilizing tape measures and basic hand tools including, but not limited to trowels,
hammers, wrenches, chisels, power tools, etc.

Position Summary
The position delivers and sets precast products in a safe and timely manner using cranes with various rigging
hardware.
Essential Responsibilities
• Must demonstrates willingness to take direction and follows instructions.
• Must maintains logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status following applicable state and
federal regulations; checks all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate;
immediately reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Must maintain clean, organized, safe work area at all times.
• Checks vehicles prior to driving to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good
working order; conducts daily crane inspection and completes proper paperwork; follows established
company safety, OSHA, and DOT guidelines when transporting goods; advises supervisor of any issues after
daily inspections are completed.
• Ensures proper customer service by reviewing and comparing invoice to what product is loaded;
understanding delivery instructions, location and estimated delivery time; seeking out customer to obtain
direction on where to off load products; obtaining customer's signature for proof of delivery.
• Must Secures loads by utilizing chains, binders, straps, slings etc. to ensure that products are safely
secured; ensures proper tie down technique is used to safeguard product and ensure road safety; ensures
truck has proper lifting devices to off load product; verifies that the boom is down and cradled prior to
departure; ensures boom truck has sufficient clearance of any high voltage power lines and/or the presence
of any other overhead obstacle.
• Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions following signals from loading/ground crew as
needed; checks that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned;
checks conditions of trailers after contents have been unloaded to make sure that there has been no
damage; loads and unloads trucks, or helps others with loading and unloading, operating any special
loading-related equipment on vehicles and using other equipment as necessary; inventories and inspects
goods to be moved, in order to determine quantities and conditions; couples and uncouples trailers by
changing trailer jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air and electrical lines, and manipulating fifthwheel locks; installs and removes special equipment such as tire chains.

Qualifications
Related experience, preferably in the construction industry
Ability to communicate with customers
