NOW HIRING~ IRRIGATION TECH

MRC Lawn Care & Maintenance is a commerical and residential landscape design and install company. We offer services ranging from landscape to irrgigation, hardscapes and outdoor lighting. We design, deliver and install based on your needs. We also offer monthly lawn maintenace for residential and commercial properties.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical systems.
Duties:
- Install new irrigation systems based on design plans
- Perform regular maintenance on existing irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with irrigation systems
- Adjust watering schedules and settings to ensure optimal water usage
- Inspect and replace faulty or damaged components such as valves, pipes, and sprinkler heads
- Collaborate with landscaping team to ensure proper placement of irrigation system components
- Dig trenches and lay pipes for irrigation system installation
- Monitor water pressure and flow rates to ensure efficient operation of the system
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements:
- Previous experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and techniques
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues with irrigation systems
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
