This Marin County home is one of the most unique projects we’ve had the opportunity to be part of.

The existing home was carefully lifted off its original foundation, a completely new lower level was built, and the original structure was set back in place—creating a beautiful three-story home.

Kiefer Electric is proud to be providing the electrical installation throughout the project, including:

250 years ago today, thirteen colonies bet everything on an idea. Today we get to celebrate two and a half centuries of that experiment still going.

⚡ Kiefer Electric Inc. This custom pool house project was a great one for our crew from start to finish. Beyond the vaulted tongue-and-groove cedar ceilings and the glass-walled great room framing those vineyard views, there’s a lot of work behind the scenes that made it all possible.

We trenched and ran a new underground service to bring power out to the pool house, then installed a dedicated 200A service to handle everything the space needed — outdoor kitchen, fireplace, HVAC, and a full lighting package.

For lighting controls, the client chose Lutron HomeWorks — Lutron’s top-tier whole-home system. That means every light in the pool house, from the gable-end windows down to the outdoor kitchen sconces, is dimmable and scene-programmable. All from a keypad or the app, no separate switches to think about. Proud of how this one came together.

From demolition to transformation. ⚡️

We’re proud to showcase another commercial tenant improvement project completed by Kiefer Electric Inc.

What started as a vacant shell with exposed ductwork, outdated finishes, and a complete interior demolition has been transformed into a modern, high-end fitness studio. Our team provided the electrical infrastructure to help bring this vision to life, including lighting, power distribution, equipment connections, and coordination with the project team throughout the build.

The finished space features sleek architectural lighting, illuminated mirrors, dedicated power for fitness equipment, and a clean industrial design that completely reimagined the space.
