That patch job you’re seeing?
It was a Band-Aid.

The homeowner likely sealed the crack to keep water or bugs out, which is understandable, but the foundation was still moving.

We’ve now stabilized the home with concrete pressed pilings, fixing the root of the issue.

From here, cosmetic repair can be done the right way by a professional brick mason who can match the mortar and properly repair the crack.

With all this rain in North Central Texas, take a look around your home once it stops.

We recently evaluated a home for a buyer after brick cracks and sheetrock repairs were flagged during the inspection for potential foundation issues.

After a full evaluation, the foundation was actually within standard tolerances.

The real issue? Drainage.

An older system was no longer functioning properly, allowing water to impact the soil around the home. We designed a new drainage plan to properly move water away from the structure and help prevent future issues.
