Gosh, those electrical bills were HIGH across Green Country this Summer! 😱💡

If you’re looking for ways to cut down on those Fall bills, we’d recommend the following:

1. Program your thermostat! Make sure that thermostat is not running hard during the day (when you’re not home) or on vacation!
2. Ditch your old light bulbs and switch to LEDs! They use 75% less energy than traditional light bulbs which adds up fast!
3. Cover your hardwood and tile floors with area rugs! Not only will it give your room a facelift, it will also provide extra insulation from the cold.
4. Only run FULL laundry and dishwasher loads! It takes the same amount of energy to run a partial load as a full load, not to mention saving on water use.
5. CHANGE YOUR AIR FILTERS regularly! Dirty air filters can reduce air flow, making your heating system work harder.

☀️ Tulsa heat is still hanging around, so with A/C systems working overtime, homeowners may notice a couple of things:

⚡ 1. Breakers tripping repeatedly.
💡 2. Lights dimming or flickering when the A/C comes on.
🔌 3. Outlets or switches feeling unusually warm (this is a BIG warning sign as they may need to be checked.)
