Finch Roof Consulting was privileged to support the JACKETS and JEANS fundraiser to benefit Team Tony Cancer Foundation’s critical mission of providing free peer-to-peer cancer support and resources. Team Tony’s peer-to-peer mentoring program matches a trained volunteer cancer survivor with a recently diagnosed cancer patient or caregiver who is in need of support. Referred to as a Teammate, a Team Tony volunteer mentor is someone who can relate to the newly diagnosed cancer patient or caregiver. Team Tony Teammates offer support, knowledge, encouragement, and inspiration every step of the way. Since 2016, they have matched over 600 cancer fighters and caregivers in the Tri-County with Team Tony teammates and provided over $265,000 in medical grants to help alleviate the financial burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis.
