Our Tampa Division CARE team came together for a very special cause, collecting 101 teddy bears in loving memory of Tessa Ann Bruner, who courageously battled Batten Disease. This was a special way to honor Tessa, the daughter of David Weekley Homes Team Member Sean Bruner.

Thanks to the generosity of our Team Members, friends, and family, these teddy bears were delivered to the Tampa Rough Riders, who distribute them to children, hospital patients, and others in need of comfort and encouragement throughout our community.

We're so grateful to everyone who contributed to this meaningful donation and helped us honor Tessa's memory through kindness and giving back. ❤️🧸

At Edgewater Wellen Park in Venice, FL, David Weekley Homes has broken ground on The Freshwater model. This planned townhome will feature three bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a two-car garage. It’s one of five two-story floor plans homebuyers will be able to consider.

A future afternoon at Rye Ranch might mean a swim, a stop at the playground or time with neighbors at the clubhouse.

Ground has broken on these planned amenities in Parrish, FL, along with a dog park for David Weekley Homes and Cardel Homes residents. David Weekley Homes will soon offer two series of homes on 50- and 60-foot homesites, with two model homes scheduled to begin construction in December 2026.

Say hello to Kailey Donahue, Sales Consultant in Tampa!

A born and raised Floridian, Kailey grew up near Jacksonville as the oldest child in her family. She graduated from Florida State University in 2024 (go Noles!) and is now bringing her energy and enthusiasm to the Tampa area. When she’s not helping Customers find their perfect home, you’ll find her out on the golf course, shopping, or settling in with a good thriller series or movie.

Kailey has always been an animal lover, with a pet history that includes fish, dogs, turtles, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters and even a leopard gecko. She’s currently learning how to bake and has already mastered chocolate chip banana muffins. Her favorite foods to eat? Crab rangoon and crab legs. Kailey didn’t take her first plane ride until she was 20, but she’s made up for lost time. Her favorite destination so far is Victoria, Canada, and Japan tops her list for the next big adventure.

As a Sales Consultant, Kailey loves helping Customers turn their vision of a dream home into reality. She takes pride in building relationships and guiding families through the exciting step of joining a new community.
