👉💡Lighting in the working area of the kitchen - What is it even for 🤔❓

It's a fact that the most important light in the kitchen is the ☀daylight and ⬆overhead lamp.

However, we don't always have the opportunity to use daylight, and the overhead light, usually gets obscured by our figure while washing dishes or preparing food.

✅ Lamps installed just above our countertop e.g. in hanging cabinets will help us to have a good visibility in this crucial place.

These can be:

💡 led strips
💡 halogen bulbs

The optimal distance between bulbs should be about 50 cm.

💦 Single Bowl Sink - who needs it most 🤔❓

Is a round sink impractical❓😱

This question comes to mind the first moment we see the Round Sink in the company of its square counterparts 🤯

When buying it, there is often a concern that its size will limit our ability to wash and wash and rinse products for our dishes 😬.

But does its shape matter a lot in terms of capacity ❓

Intuitively, we classify round sinks as smaller.

However, we often forget that length, width and depth are still the most important parameters. Apart from the possibility of adjusting the bowls.

What does this mean for us?

What it means is that many square, rectangular or other shaped sinks can be less capacious than a round sink.

So if your kitchen décor or taste calls for one, you don't have to rule it out at the beginning because of its shape. 🙂

How much space to devote to the sink 🤔❓

There is no hesitation if we can afford a large sink
Even if our kitchen has a dishwasher, a larger sink will be a great assistant for chores like:

✅ defrosting
✅ rinsing
✅ washing up big things like: baking trays

👉 Sinks with a large, deep bowl, sinks with two and a half bowls or sinks with a large drainer are great for this purpose.

And if you have limited space, we recommend choosing a sink with a smaller bowl to save counter space 😉👌

👉 Cafe curtains, although they are most often found in classic and rustic styles, we can meet them in many different compositions.

They are extremely practical solution, which will allow us to cover our window not only when our sink is placed near the window.

The main advantage of curtains is that we do not have to climb up to the ceiling to remove them from the curtain rod. This makes changing and washing much more practical 😉👌

🔀 Combining wood with other design elements.

Wood can be both the dominant element in our arrangement and just an addition.

🤎 An interesting idea is also to combine different types of wood. We can interlace the wood grain or change its angle.

🔴 Granite sink surface - Smooth or rough 🤔❓
Hello dear 😍 We have been getting a lot of questions from you lately related to sink surface.

So we answer - ✅ Yes, the surface of our sinks is smooth‼ 🤩

🛡🦠 We create our sinks in such a way that their ultra-hygienic surface is not conducive to the deposition of dirt and germs for years to come.

On the other hand, we want their shiny surface to remain a delight for years to come ✨🥰

What this looks like in practice ❓

Our sinks are made from a combination of aggregate and resin:

8⃣0⃣% - Granite
2⃣0⃣% - Synthetic resin

👉 This combination allows us to create a shatter and scratch resistant structure.

🔥🔥🔥 After forming, the sinks are subjected to a high-temperature hardening process lasting several hours.

This allows us to achieve an even stronger and more resistant surface 💪💯

Thanks to this smoother surface, daily care of the sink is limited to the use of a cloth and dishwashing liquid, and impregnation is limited to the use of edible oil 👌

🛠🧐 How to calculate renovation costs ❓

Therefore, before we start our renovation, it's worth meticulously planning the budget 👌

Before we go shopping at the DIY store, it's a good idea to take a piece of paper and a pen and write it out carefully:

1⃣. What would we like to have in our new house/apartment? It is important to include here every single design element, even the smallest, from bottom to top.

2⃣. What are the sizes of the rooms being renovated.

3⃣. Recalculate how many and what kind of materials such as tiles, panels, adhesives, paints we will need to renovate our room. (It is worth taking into account a 15-20% margin here).
The construction calculators available on the web will help you with this.

4⃣. How much the construction services will cost us.

5⃣. What additional costs such as debris removal, replacement materials, cleaning products will occur during the renovation.

6⃣. How can we optimize our costs❓ Do we have access to discounts, rebates, promotions❓

NOTE❗ When setting a renovation budget, it is a good idea to plan for a 1⃣5⃣-2⃣5⃣% margin, for unforeseen expenses.
