Totally lost for words ! This is something that town should be not even worried about !
Kids need to be kids !
Play street ball ! Yes we have done it at some point growing up !
What is wrong with AMERICA today !
Serious people ! You only live 1 life
Let’s let these kids do kid things ! And yes it’s street ball ! Cars will just have to
Go a little slower or maybe the speed limit !! I see too many cars zip all over !
Kids playing is a good thing, I know a lot of grumpy people don’t like it well too bad we don’t like Grumpy people !
Hell I’ll even donate orange safety cones to put out ! This is called a community and we should all rally around the kids ! I’ve seen too many kids get pushed aside at school sports for favorites ! Sad but true !!
I have 5 kids that went through the school system and weather it be football / wrestling / lacrosse (Boys - girls) baseball ! Kids should be able to play ! Too many coaches play favorites and it’s sad ! Kids never get a chance to blossom !! They need confidence and the ability to get better ! If you want to pass a law pass it for school sports !
Coaches can’t play favorites / treat kids like s**t / belittle them when they can’t seem to get it figured out/ swearing at the kids!! Happens all the time and girls lacrosse at Schuylerville!! 
But I guess it’s OK because coaches are picked favorites to, they’re never wrong so they think so. Now that I’m done ranting yeah, I support the basketball hoop in the streets because it could mean the difference of a kid doing a out of school sport because he’s not good enough or will never be given a chance to gain confidence! I hope alot of you parents are actually seeing it’s ok to speed your mind / yellow is only a color !
Several homes in the area have this hoops for the purposes of getting children active and outside. If used safely and with supervision they pose only benefits to our community as they keep our youth active, and out of other more harmful activities
