I would like to address a post that was made on April 14, 2026 about myself, our Son and our business. We were sub contracted to do a job for Center township in Butler County Pa. We had a young lady that drove thru our road closure zone, she was asked to turn around and leave the work zone multiple times and refused. I went and got one of the townships supervisor’s and he had called the PSP to come to the site as it is their protocol in work areas. The young lady called her brothers to come and one brother told the other brother to bring his gun. The brothers came thru the road closure at a high rate of speed. The one brother came out of the truck and rushed aggressively toward our son, an altercation did occur and the other brother pointed a gun at the township supervisor, then at myself and our son. When the PSP arrived at the scene and took statements from everyone on scene. This incident occurred around 10:30 AM April 14,2026. Later that evening we had a call that the young lady posted on facebook making accusations that’s not an accurate representation of what happened. Our family and our company have endured a difficult period marked by false and damaging statements, threatening communications and actions that harmed our business reputation and family. These events have caused significant personal distress and negatively impacted our company’s online reviews and the trust we have worked hard to build. The facts of this event came to light today in the court room all charges that pertained to Cunningham & Son’s Tree Care were dismissed with a not guilty verdict and the young lady and brothers were all handed down guilty verdicts. I want to be clear the claims of where the young lady was harmed are completely false there was no physical contact at any point during the altercation by anyone with Cunningham & Son’s Tree Care with the young lady. Those allegations do not reflect what actually occurred. Despite these challenges, we remain committed to serving our customers with honesty, integrity and professionalism. We are grateful for the support of our clients, friends and community, and we will continue to focus on providing the high-quality service that has always defined our business.
