For over a half-century, the Klingelhut Window & Siding Co. has been solely owned and operated by the Klingelhut Family offering service and superior workmanship to generations of customers in the Twin City area. Founding the company in 1937 during the Depression, Joe Klingelhut began working out of a garage on 24th Avenue in Minneapolis. In the 1950 he added siding to their roofing service as Joe’s two children joined the firm. In 1970, Joe Klingelhut retired, leaving the second generation of Klingelhut to carry on the business

In keeping with the tradition, third generation Gary Klingelhut have joined the company, allowing for continued growth of the business to include replacement windows and doors, custom built homes and most other improvements needed for a Minnesota home's exterior. Klingelhut Window & Siding Co. has over 70 years in the business, clearly pointing out that many workers have decades of experience and expertise and work alongside their own family members. The Klingelhut Family continues to move the business well into the next century offering homeowners quality products and superior workmanship which has been the hallmark of our success.

Over a period of 10 months, Gary Klingelhut and his subcontractors repaired, remodeled and refreshed our home. We could not be more pleased with his professionalism, pricing and quality of work. Gary handled the replacement of our roof in coordination with our insurer and by himself replaced our siding, gutters and installed new Marvin windows. He and his team gutted, refreshed and remodeled our home’s main level with new wall partitions and floors (wood and porcelain) for a new kitchen and rear entry/laundry room, including all new doors, wood trim, resurfaced fireplace, lighting, and stairway railings with wrought iron banisters. We highly recommend him and will use his services again.
