Excited for Saturday! Loop It Up Savannah 🍔 đźŚ
🌿 Art & Garden Day is almost here! 🌸
This Saturday, our team at the Chatham County Tax Commissioner’s Office is proud to join forces with Loop It Up Savannah and Gadsden Elementary School for a day of creativity, gardening, and hands-on learning. Together, we’re building an outdoor classroom and STEAM art space that will inspire students for years to come.
We’re still collecting plant donations to help the garden flourish. If you’d like to contribute, please email [email protected]
by close of business Friday, Sept. 12, 2025.
Here’s the wish list:
🌱 Herbs: Rosemary (x2), Mint (x2), Sage (x2), Fennel (x2), Cilantro (x2), Lavender (x2), Dill (x2), Lemon balm (x2), Basil (x2), Oregano (x2), Thyme (x2), Green onion (x2), Parsley (x2)
🥕 Vegetables: Bell Pepper (x2), Sweet Pepper (x2), Collards (x2 plugs if possible), Broccoli (x2 plugs if possible), Pak Choy, Bok Choy, Lettuce, Spinach, Cauliflower (plugs if possible)
🌼 Pest Control: Marigolds (16–24), Raspberry (x2)
🦋 Pollinator Bed: Butterfly Milkweed (x2), Swamp Milkweed (x2), Coneflowers, Black-eyed Susan, Snapdragons, Cosmos
🌷 Bulbs: Daffodils, Tulips

✨ Special thanks to McDevitt Air, who has generously joined as a sponsor for the event, providing a delicious grilled lunch for attendees. Judge Middleton will serve as Grill Master, preparing the meal and helping make this community celebration even more memorable.
