I could not let the weekend begin without offering accolades to the team of individuals referenced above. It was impressive to see them worked seamlessly to accomplish the multiple services needed in order to get my father’s Kohler Generator running again.
Personally, I have owned 4 different houses in 3 different states over the course of my 36 years of marriage and have interacted with numerous companies to arrange for services to repair, replace, or install features that support the systems of each house. When I offered to assist my father in contracting an entity to get his Kohler generator running for the sale of his home, I first searched the BBB site. I found PowerPro Service Company, Inc. was listed with an A+ rating. I created a short list of A+ companies and set out to begin to make calls, figuring that I would feel out each company and then select the one that best suited the needs of the job and of my timetable. I called PowerPro Service Company, Inc. first and in short order realized that there was no need to seek any further.
The adage: "You never get a second chance to make a good first impression" is true and Rick Rizzo, the Customer Service Supervisor, clearly understands how important that is in successful business interactions. From my initial call to the office, he educated me on the process that needed to occur to achieve the goal of getting the generator running again. My generator situation required a multi-layered repair. Rick Rizzo drew on the talents of several individuals within the PowerPro Service Company: Andrew Pignataro was “boots on the ground” here along with Chris Salamone, they were also in communication with TJ Groening their supervisor at your “home base”. TJ also interacted with Tom Thomas of Roslyn Electric, as Rick Rizzo brought them onboard to do another aspect of our job that required the expertise of a certified electrician. Tom Thomas and James Florie accomplished the electric repair work required 2 days prior to Andrew and Chris’ return to install the expedited parts. We weren’t even sure when the parts were going to arrive and were hoping for the best, so Tom Thomas and James Florie’s proactive work allowed for Andrew and Chris to do the installation sooner than expected as the expedited parts came in unbelievably early! At every juncture Rick Rizzo kept me abreast of what was needed and how PowerPro Service Company was addressing it. He even explained that he would be out for a few days during the week of the final repair work but told me that he would make sure that my job and the details of what needed to be accomplished once the ordered parts arrived would move forward even if that were to happen while he was out.
From May 29th till June 5th all the individuals identified here treated my father’s home and our situation with professionalism and empathy. It was an impressive demonstration of knowledge, skill and “open communication” that made me feel confident in the work being done. I felt valued not just as a customer, but as a human being. I could not have asked for a better outcome to our situation. It is true that "You never get a second chance to make a good first impression". It is also true that "First impressions" followed-up with quality service create Lasting Good Impressions, and that is what this team has done! They have created a lasting outstanding impression! I have already recommended this company to our realtor as she surely recommends contractors for jobs within the purview of her industry. I will also leave for the new homeowner the contact information.
