Colorful fall foliage blanketing the ground is pretty, but a roof drain clogged with leaves isn't. If you've got trees around your commercial building, booking a roof inspection before winter hits could be the difference between avoiding roofing headaches and dealing with a major emergency when water backs up and starts seeping into your space.

Schroon Lake—a beautiful resort town and lake community in the eastern zone of New York's Adirondack Park—treated Ed Ruchel to some gorgeous autumn scenery during a customer visit for roof repairs. It's a rough job, but somebody's gotta do it! 😉

The WeatherGuard team was honored to play a small part in collecting toys for Schenectady-area children last year, and our office is a toy collection site again this year. Visit our blog for details about how you can help us bring a smile to local children's faces this holiday season.

Experience Modification Rating (EMR) is a workers’ comp multiplier that reflects actual injury history against industry average. EMR for best-in-class commercial roofers runs between 0.65 and 0.85, and Tecta America's EMR is 0.56! Tecta America's approach to safety, including on-site audits, safety training, toolbox talks and more, allows us to keep our EMR low and our people safe.

The WeatherGuard crew had the best time at Eunice O. Esposito Park for the annual employee BBQ! We're talking mouth-watering food, cool raffle prizes, intense co****le matches and genuine connection with our coworkers.

As usual, it was a great way to kick back, enjoy the day and celebrate the hard work the team puts in all year long. Thank you all for everything you do!

Andre, our experienced production foreman and metal craftsman, was recently in Albany, NY installing the side metal panels and edge cap metal on this building. When our safety officer checked out the site he wasn't surprised that Andre had set up proper barriers around the lift area to shield passersby from harm and was securely fastened in the aerial lift while working. Nice work, Andre!
