The map below shows the expected onset time of snow on Saturday evening. We are expecting snow to develop between 6 and 8 PM for central and southern VT and most of northern New York, while expanding north and impacting the entire region by midnight Sunday.

Widespread moderate to heavy snow is expected for much of northern New York and Vermont from 7 PM this evening until early Sunday afternoon. The heaviest snow will fall between midnight tonight and 7 AM Sunday. Travel will likely be difficult tonight and Sunday morning. Strong area of low pressure will take a perfect track for widespread, sustained, HEAVY snow across the board Saturday night into Sunday. Early estimates point to a 6+ inch snowfall for many areas... subject to change as details become more clear. Stay tuned!
