Winter is coming and plenty of rain can be expected. Roof leaks and mossy roofs can end up being very costly. Keep them clean and make sure pipe flashings are in good shape and if you aren't comfortable on your roof give me a call and I can do it for you! I don't love replacing roofs and trying to stop a leak in the rain is no fun either so keeping up on maintenance is a safe way to go!

I seem to have got caught up on roofs this year (not my favorite) but there is a lot more that goes into doing a roof correctly than most would think. Oregon gets plenty of rain in the winter and water travels in many directions and ventilation is also necessary for materials to last. Roof overlays and incorrectly placed nails don't add up when trying to save money or time.
