We traded some Elderberry for some rabbit fertilizer and the plants are going to be oh so happy.
Join our little garden assistant for a small walk to her garden.

Rabbit fertilizer is so awesome for plants as you can just put it straight into the soil without waiting for it to "cool down". Most fertilizer can be "hot" and you could potentially burn your plants if you put it on straight.
Always make sure to follow recommendations based on what kind of fertilizer you intend to use on your garden.

We never stop learning and it's never too early to start either. Planting our pumpkins and squash plants and praying that they do well this year as we have really been working on amending the soil this year in our squash bed.

Clumps of sunflowers are starting to come up from our toddler planting method. We have transplanted some clumps near the chicken run for them to enjoy this fall and have even more coming up in our new slope garden near the driveway. So excited for when they bloom 😊 ☀️🌞 🌻
