Good evening! We have been taking some calls for cedar apple rust on apple trees, ornamental and fruit bearing. It also may affect hawthorns, and a few other species... It is time to treat them now during bud break. There are several fungicides available depending on whether they are fruit bearing or not. UNL Extension has a good publication related to this if you would like to know more about it as the spores overwinter in the eastern junipers lurking in our area. If you need a sprayable product for this we have it in stock at HillTop Gardens. Enjoy the beautiful week! Carl
