I'll be honest, I almost didn't go.

The IBHS FORTIFIED Awards are in New Orleans. It's a Wednesday night. There's a lot going on.

But I'm glad I went. Because when I looked around the room, I didn't see another roofing contractor from Acadiana. Not one.

That's not a knock on anyone this industry moves fast and these events are easy to skip. But for me and my team, the FORTIFIED program isn't just a credential we hang on the wall. It's the standard we build to. So being in that room, talking to IBHS leadership, hearing where the program is going that matters to us.

Last night, Acadiana Roof Restoration attended the 11th Annual IBHS FORTIFIED Awards ceremony in New Orleans and we were the only roofing contractor from our region in the room.

That wasn't an accident. We're committed to the FORTIFIED program at a level most contractors in Louisiana simply aren't. In 2025, ARR installed more FORTIFIED roofs in the Acadiana area than any other contractor we know of and we're on track to hit the IBHS 100-roof milestone list in 2026.
