How to Test Your AC Before the First Hot Day

Pick a day when it's about 60–70°F outside and try this:

1️⃣ Set your thermostat to “cool.”
2️⃣ Lower the temperature below the current room temperature.
3️⃣ Let the system run for 10–15 minutes.

While it runs, check for:

✔ Cold air coming from the vents
✔ The outdoor unit fan spinning
✔ No strange noises
