Open-concept layouts are becoming increasingly prevalent, but load-bearing walls can sometimes pose a challenge. By calculating the load and span width, we can determine the required size of the laminated veneer lumber (LVL) needed to adequately support the weight above. Upon removal of the existing foundation footer by the homeowner, the space will become a spacious area to enjoy once the basement is finished.

Nebraska's weather is notoriously unpredictable, and hailstorms can cause significant damage. In this instance, a client's window suffered a small crack from hail, which compromised its integrity and led to leaks that damaged the interior. Following the replacement window order, new siding painting, and careful weather forecasting to determine the optimal installation window, our team successfully completed another outstanding project.

This project was extensive, encompassing the removal of a load-bearing wall and installation of a top-side support beam in the attic, as well as a comprehensive renovation of the kitchen, including demolition, full refurbishment, and completion with a thorough painting of the kitchen, living room, and dining room. Additionally, we installed all cabinets, countertops, and a new tile backsplash to finalize the project.

This client's residence underwent a substantial renovation. From installing brand new concrete in the front and back driveways, to replacing basement windows and front and back doors. The interior of the home received brand new interior doors and wood sills throughout the home. Upgraded the egress window well to ensure compliance. Removed a barn door on the upstairs bathroom to provide privacy. Preped and graded the yard for sprinkler installation and sod. This project required considerable time, but we are pleased to report its successful completion.
