This is very true, you can you can usually tell the professionalism and quality of a tree company by how committed they are to safe work practices. Proper personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, and ear protection are mandatory. If you a hire a tree trimming service that doesn't value the safety of their workers, imagine how much they care about the quality of work they provide you.

If you hired a company and they start work without helmets on, SEND THEM HOME! This company was working next to us yesterday. No helmets, glasses, or ear protection. Our industry is one of the most dangerous jobs in the US and wearing a helmet is not optional.

With the severe weather this evening, storm damage has downed limbs and trees around Scotts Bluff and Goshen County. Bluff's Tree Care provides safe, professional, and affordable tree services. I've spent over ten years in the tree industry, and have spent countless hours safely removing downed trees after storms.

Storm damage presents multiple difficulties and hazards not inherent to standard tree care. I strongly advice home owners to NOT risk their safety trying to remove limbs that have fallen. There are many risk that an untrained eye can miss, wood under tension can be easy to underestimate and causes multiple fatalities every year.

If you have downed power lines it is imperative to call you're local power utility immediately. Do NOT approach downed power lines, stay inside and wait until you been assured by the proper officials the risk from the downed lines has been eliminated.

The emerald ash bore has been discovered in Omaha, which means it will be killing ash trees in Western Nebraska in the next 4-8 years. Currently there are over 9 million ash trees in Nebraska.
