Representatives from the Scranton Half Marathon recently gathered with members of Scranton’s Little Leagues and Tripp Park Little League Softball to present donations from the race proceeds. ⚾️🎉
A total of $35,882 was presented to the seven participating organizations, with each group receiving $5,126. An additional $35,882 from the race proceeds was contributed to the Scranton Half Marathon Foundation, which awards grants to nonprofit organizations throughout Lackawanna County.

Since its inception, the Scranton Half Marathon has made community involvement and giving back an important part of its mission. Through the race, organizers strive to encourage health and fitness while celebrating Scranton and Lackawanna County, including the area’s natural scenery, local heritage, and cultural history.
