A great addition to Scranton! ☕❤️

Congratulations to Coffee Inclusive on the opening of its second location! Coffee Inclusive goes far beyond serving great coffee and treats. The organization provides meaningful employment, job training, and an inclusive workplace for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them develop skills, confidence, and greater independence.

KSG Principal Anthony Shulde, P.E. was on hand to celebrate the soft opening and was proud to serve as Chair of the fundraising effort that helped make the new Scranton location possible.

We’re looking forward to the official Grand Opening on September 14th at 10:00 AM at 526 Cedar Avenue!

In the meantime, if you’re heading to La Festa Italiana di Lackawanna County in downtown Scranton this weekend, be sure to visit the Coffee Inclusive booth for a treat and a cup of coffee while supporting an organization doing some pretty incredible work in our community. ☕🇮🇹

Congratulations to our friends at Coffee Inclusive!

We’re looking for the next person to join our structural team at KSG Engineers.

Not just someone looking for another job. We’re looking for someone who wants to build a career and grow with a firm.

Whether you’re a structural designer, EIT, or PE, if you enjoy designing buildings, solving problems, and actually seeing the projects you work on get built, we’d like to talk to you.

We work on a wide variety of projects throughout the region and across the country. You’ll get real design experience, real responsibility, and the support of a team that wants to see you succeed.

We’ve built something at KSG that we’re proud of, and we’re looking for people who want to be part of where we’re going next.

If that sounds like you, reach out. Even if you’re not actively looking, I’d be happy to have a conversation.

There are projects that mean a little more because of what a place means to the community.

KSG Engineers is proud to be working with the new owners of the former Rocky Glen Park property in Moosic as they begin writing the next chapter for this historic site.

For generations, Rocky Glen was one of Northeastern Pennsylvania's great gathering places. Today, one of the first priorities is bringing back one of its most recognizable features.... the lake.

Our civil engineering team is assisting the owners as they work through the engineering, permitting and regulatory process necessary to restore the dam and the approximately 33-acre Rocky Glen Pond, while also helping them evaluate the possibilities for the property's future.

It's exciting to work with local owners who recognize both the potential of this property and the history that comes with it. We’re looking forward to helping bring the lake back and seeing what the future holds for Rocky Glen.

High-end residential design takes on an entirely different level of coordination when the structure is being built in two places at once.

This recently completed residence in Sag Harbor, New York, designed by RESOLUTION: 4 ARCHITECTURE, is a great example of the type of work KSG Engineers has become uniquely experienced in delivering.

Projects like this require us to marry conventional site-built foundations, steel framing, exterior structures and other site-built elements with factory-built structural modules being constructed hundreds of miles away, then transported to the site and precisely set into place.

Connections between factory-built and site-built construction need to be carefully thought through long before the modules ever arrive. And when everything comes together, the finished home should look and perform as one cohesive structure, reinforcing the client’s million-dollar vision

That combination of high-end residential structural engineering and modular construction experience has become a unique part of what we do at KSG.

Exciting progress in Asbury Park, NJ!

Structural steel is going up at the new Marmora Family Community & Education Center, and it’s great to see another KSG Engineers project taking shape.

The new three-story will be a 30,000-square-foot mixed-use facility developed along the Springwood Avenue corridor in Asbury Park’s West Side. Once complete, the building will serve as Interfaith Neighbors, Inc. new headquarters and bring together affordable housing, community services and a permanent home for the Asbury Park Museum under one roof.

KSG Engineers is proud to provide structural engineering services for this project that will not only transform a site, but create a lasting resource for the surrounding community.

There’s nothing quite like seeing the steel go up and a set of structural drawings become a building!

In the past two weeks, downtown Scranton has endured two major water main breaks. While our building was affected, it doesn’t compare to the impact these events have had on many of our neighboring shops, restaurants, and small businesses.

We’re doing our small part to support the businesses that make downtown such a great place. Today we stopped into Spin And Savory for the first time, and it definitely won’t be our last. Delicious food, great service, and another reminder of why it’s so important to support local, especially when businesses are facing unexpected challenges.

If you’re in downtown Scranton this weekend, consider grabbing a meal, coffee, or doing a little shopping. Every visit helps.

Another KSG project is complete!

We're excited to see the new Starbucks and Chipotle officially open in Carbondale, PA, bringing two popular dining options to the UpValley community.

Our team provided the structural engineering for these new buildings, working alongside the project team and contractor from design through construction. It's always rewarding to watch a project progress from drawings to a finished development that will serve the community for years to come.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making this project a reality, and best of luck to Starbucks and Chipotle on their grand opening!
