Throwback Thursday for DACC and this photo was taken 20 years ago at the 2006 Ft Worth Rod & Custom Show of all the winners from the club. This popular indoor show was always one to look forward to and our club was always happy to displayed Tri Five Chevys at it. Those proud members are from L to R George Caruth, Debbie Guido, Bob Vaughan, Bill Preston (seated) Doyle Irick, Rodney Nevils (seated), Sharkey Nelson and Mike Reeves.

Congrats to our club members Andy & Pat Kuchta on a recent hardware acquisition when they took the 'El Guapo's Pick' at the recent Motors and Margaritas Car Show with their '55 Chevy Pickup!

10 years ago DACC turned 40, and part of that year's celebration included a special display at the Goodguys show that year of our club's Tri Five Chevys and we got an opportunity for a group shot seen here!

For 50 years we have been all about '55-'57 Chevys! We love to drive them on the open road, show them off at car shows and over the past 50 years we have done our share of drag racing! This shot from 1983 at Texas Raceway in Kennedale has Mike Cook in his '55 running against Bennie Kirtley and his '57.

In our club's half a century of enjoying '55-'57 Chevys, one of the favorite things about the club is driving our Tri Fives down the back roads of North Texas away from the metro mess, like this photo from 2008 when we took a trip out to Cedar Creek Lake.

A big year for the DACC was 1991 and as we reflect in this our 50th year this two page promotion in the Classic Chevy World magazine gave a preview of the week long event for '55-'57 Chevys hosted by DACC in August of that year.

Throwback Thursday for DACC in our 50th year of '55-'57 Chevys and this Thursday we highlight the cover of Classic Chevy World magazine that features our club founder Greg Easley's '55 Bel Air Hardtop. Greg is retired now but spent his career painting cars and his '55 was a subject many times as it had a number of different colors on it when he owned it. This is the 'green version' and his '55 was the featured ride for that month's magazine that also featured a great review of the DACC inside and 32 of our members rides! Clay Millican has a YouTube channel that follows his adventures in Top Fuel drag racing in the NHRA, and this particular hour long video captures all the behind the scenes action at the Golden Star Classic Auto Parts Shootout at the Tri Five Nationals between Clay's good bud Jeff Lutz and his '57 against Alex Taylor and her '55 Chevy!

Wow ...! The Golden Star Classic Auto Parts '56 Chevy gasser that was the 2026 Giveaway car at the The Tri-Five Nationals presented by CPP IS COMING HOME TO TEXAS! It was won by a former club member William Walker of Athens, TX who with his family is a regular at the Tri Five Nationals in the drag racing program each year. CONGRATS to William for bringing that ultra cool '56 Chevy to Texas!
