Outdoor kitchens are more than stone and pavers. The tricky part is what you can't see: drainage under the patio, reinforcement under the weight of all that masonry, and making sure water sheds away from the house instead of pooling behind the stone.

(Slaps paver) “that ain’t going anywhere”

Longevity in your patio begins with thorough preparation and base compaction. For this impressive 2800 square ft driveway, our crew has installed 20-24” of open grade aggregate base material, totaling over 155 tons. The process involves proper compaction of site soils, installation of heavy specialty hardscape fabric, compacting the base in 3-4” lifts, constructing a retaining wall with geo grid on either side, and finishing with 1” of chip stone screeded out to ensure a perfect level.
