🌱 Commercial Lawn Care Training Workshop 🌱

Registration is now OPEN for our upcoming Commercial Lawn Care Training Workshop on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the White County Extension Office in Searcy!

This full-day educational program is designed for lawn care professionals, commercial applicators, landscapers, and anyone interested in improving turfgrass management skills.

Topics will include:
✔️ Turfgrass identification & seasonal issues
✔️ Lawn diseases & diagnostics
✔️ Sprayer calibration & application accuracy
✔️ Turf insects & IPM
✔️ W**d management & herbicide selection
✔️ Pesticide safety & environmental stewardship
✔️ Arkansas laws & certification updates

✅ Approved by the Arkansas Department of Agriculture for recertification in ornamental classifications 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10.

It is with great regret that we have lost a valuable coworker Butch Pugh. He was well known in the Turf Grass Community through his hard work and dedication to that field. He will be missed greatly and was loved by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as they navigate through this tremendous loss.

The ATA was honored to award Rodney Fisher with the inaugural “Ron Fisher Lifetime Achievement Award.” Ron Fisher, Rodney’s Dad, started the ATA in 1988. He realized the need for education and networking within the Turfgrass industry. Rodney has continued his legacy by being a wealth of knowledge for people in turfgrass. He is available to answer your questions and if he doesn’t know, you can bet he will help anyway. We are so lucky to have Rodney so involved and couldn’t think of a better person to receive this award named after his Dad. Thank you Rodney!! Agra Turf Inc.
