One of our service technicians who was servicing a water heater found that the anode rod needed to be replaced. The purpose of a anode is to protect your water heater by attracting the sediment and harsh minerals found in water, so that it corrodes the anode rod rather than inside of the water heater. The one on the right is a new anode and what it is supposed to look like and the one on the left is the one from the water heater that was serviced here in Monterey.

Water heaters typically last between 6 and 13 years. You can definitely prolong your water heater’s life by servicing your water heater. If you would like to service your water heater call us to book an appointment. Also show our technician this coupon and receive 25$ off your service.
