Each week, children have an opportunity to plan, plant and tend their own garden plot. We’ll also enjoy songs, stories and art projects to help expose your little ones to a backyard garden and all that is offered in its urban habitat.

There's still a nip in the air, but our thoughts are on warm weather plants! Now is the time to start your tomatoes, eggplant and, yes, peppers indoors to give them a jump start on the season!

This morning was beautifully sunny, so we went to the zoo! But this afternoon we'll be outside planting fava beans, snow peas, arugula, beets and spinach!
