“Progress” can be a deceiving metric during large jobs. These two photos were taken 33 days apart. While it looks like nothing much has changed, none of the progress on supporting systems of the home are included in this photo.

What you can’t see is all the interior work completed by our plumbers and electricians. Before drywall and paint and fixtures and all the finishing additions that give character to a home, all of the inner workings must be addressed. This home has new plumbing and electrical with many of the access points repositioned to our client’s specifications.

It takes time to implement all the pieces and parts of a project to make our clients’ vision come alive.

PNW weather can be tricky to plan for outdoor gatherings. Luckily for this family, they’ve chosen to upgrade their outdoor space with a beautiful walk-out deck and covered area, perfect for entertaining year round. Composite decking keeps things PNW and maintenance friendly, too; no need for periodic sanding or staining. For an extra bit of character the boards on this deck are varying widths to ramp up the visual interest of an otherwise uniform look. Skirting around the perimeter finishes the edges and we love how the skirting and the elevation of the deck work together for clever storage solutions. Custom sized doors will be added to blend with the skirting so outdoor items can be stored away from sight.

We love return clients! Whidbey Island, Orcas Island, San Juan Island, Chelan, and the Olympic Peninsula are places we’ve been called to visit new projects for previous clients. Traveling to see them is a great excuse to take a field trip and enjoy the scenic beauty of our region. ⛴ 🏔 ⛅️

What a difference a couple weeks can make!

This project is a full studs-out remodel with extra square footage added with 2 separate 2 story additions at either end of the home. Repositioning of framing, modernizing of the fireplace, so many more improvements to come.
