Some spaces leave a lasting impression, not only for how they look, but for how they make us feel. At Sunset Hill, the thoughtful interplay of natural materials, light, and the surrounding water reflects the remarkable vision of architect Rick Sundberg.

His ability to create spaces that feel deeply connected to their surroundings is a legacy that lives on in every detail. We’re grateful to have collaborated with Rick on a home that continues to inspire and honor his extraordinary talent.

There was something especially meaningful about being part of this project, and the shared commitment to honoring what was already there.

From the beginning, our team understood that this home -originally designed by the renowned Ralph D. Anderson- was not simply a house to be renovated. It was a piece of architectural history, with a distinct character that deserved to be respected.

Our role was to help carry that character forward with care and craftsmanship. The result is a project that feels both true to its origins and thoughtfully suited to the way the home is lived in today.

We’re grateful to have been part of such a collaborative effort, and especially proud of the care everyone brought to honoring Anderson’s work.

Scenes from a recent photoshoot in a home that feels as inspiring as the views beyond its walls. Perched atop a one of a kind waterfront property, every space was thoughtfully designed and crafted to invite you to slow down and settle in.

Expansive steel windows flood each room with natural light, creating the perfect backdrop for this beautiful shoot. And, for our clients, the perfect place to get lost in a good book.

We loved capturing the details, the light, and the quiet moments that make this home so special.

Olson Kundig called it “an atmospheric experience” and we couldn’t agree more. Proud to have been part of bringing this waterfront oasis to life in collaboration with architect Jim Olson and Olson Kundig.
