We most likely will NOT be plowing this. Due to warm temperatures tomorrow and Sunday and soft driveways, we will err on the side of caution and not plow unless the weather changes.

I'm waiting on this to end before doing final cleanup. Everyone has been at least plowed enough to get out if you have to.

Another 2-4" tomorrow. If most of you don't mind, I will wait until Monday morning and clean up both storms at once. If you'd like me to plow in the morning, I am available and happy to do it, but if you can wait you'll save a little $ and I'll save time. Thanks!

I am out sanding this morning. Many driveways are a sheet of ice after last nights rain. Let me know if you need to be sanded. I am unavailable this afternoon due to a funeral, but will be back out later tonight.

If we need to plow tomorrow, or this weekend, please sand your driveway. There is no warm weather for at least two weeks. All your delivery drivers, myself and your surgeon would appreciate it.

Mini Nor'easter strikes Maine tonight with snow and wind into the New Year.

Jackpot totals will be for Downeast and southern Aroostook as the storm intensifies in the Gulf of Maine and the Canadian Maritimes on New Year's Day.

Blowing and drifting snow in eastern and northern Maine will make travel extremely difficult.

Happy New Year from Maine.

The first snow storm of 2026 will dump 8 to 12 inches of fluffy snow on coastal Downeast Maine New Year's Day. There will be a sharp cutoff to the north and west with the storm moving through the Gulf of Maine quickly. High snow ratios will mean several inches for parts of the Midcoast, Penobscot Bay and Downeast.

Old Man Winter saves Christmas from Mr. Grinch.

A Norlun trough with 1 to 2 inch per hour snowfall rates and will dump up to one foot or more of snow on the Midcoast of Maine tonight.

The snow begins this afternoon in southwest Maine and then moves northeast, ending by tomorrow morning.
