Saturday morning fun
Received a call regarding a leak. The residence had no water inside their house, however, water was shown on the exterior block. The main service and condensation line were located within inches of each other. Meter indicated no water loss and a pressure test was completed and showed no deficiency in the plumbing. A week later, home owner called back and said there was still water showing. The homeowner was told to turn the water off to this residence when he went to bed that evening and call with the result the following morning. Well the next morning there was no water showing. After knocking out a section of block and using our See Snake, there was a pinhole leak the size of a hair strand discovered. Although there was no damage caused by this leak as it was on the exterior wall, it just goes to show you that even leak detections can be misleading, especially when it holds 100 pounds of air pressure.
