Installed some new chair rail with shadow boxes below. All caulked, painted and ready for some new wall paint. I am leaning towards light gray above the chair rail and a darker gray inside the boxes, leaving the outside of the boxes white?!

Here we removed the carpet from the treads and stained them and painted the risers.
We replaced the traditional handrail systems with handmade box newel posts, a simple (custom made and routed) handrail and square balustrades. What a clean looking result!!

Here we had built/incorporated truss systems to include a 2" x 12" x 28' bottom cord (ceiling joist), put together with plywood gussets, glue and 5/8" bolts. This was done in order to remove the central load bearing wall below, giving the client an open floor plan.
