NOW is the time to prepare your trees for the next storm(s) that will come through! It would be difficult to overstate the importance of not only getting dead and hanging limbs out of your trees (for safety) but also to clean up rips and bruises on limbs that are begging for bugs and decay to set in. Unfortunately, this is usually only visible once we set up our lift and get up in the tree. Call Lee at 863-464-9772 to get your trees looked at and taken care of as all the little bruises end up making a BIG impact!

As we continue with hurricane cleanup, many people are also having us trim low limbs from trees near or over their houses or other roofs. You can see in from the red line where this customer expected me to make cuts on the tree to reduce the limbs back off the house and car port. While this seems like a good idea, cuts like these (called a heading cut or topping) can actually be detrimental to mature trees like this and leave you in a much worse position a few years down the line as the tree is opened to disease, decay and over sprouting. If someone is willing to chop any limb at any location just to get the job done, they may not be the right person to do the job.

If you’re looking to get your yard cleaned up, give us a call! We are locally owned in Sebring and have everything we need to get tree and debris hauled away or moved to the front for pickup. We have a lot of companies coming in from out of town, and we appreciate them greatly, but remember to try to use a local company first if you can.
