“Customer states; new pool enclosure is full of bugs”

You don’t always have to hire the cage builder your pool builder is peddling. There are a lot of pool contractors who strongly demand you use their aluminum “contractor”! They want you “screened in” at the lowest price they can get while charging the customer a large premium for the phone call to beckon an enclosure.

I see so often, with the dollar amounts they’re tacking on for enclosures, you could buy you a top quality enclosure built with the best materials and caring craftsmanship. BUT with markups, percentages and PAYOLA, you’re getting slam bam slapped up BULL S #!T work!

I do intend to assist this customer in pursuing recourse in this situation.

One of the most common questions we get is, "Why do I need a survey for my new screen room or pool enclosure?"

In Florida, most counties require a current property survey for structures being attached to or built on residential properties under one acre. The survey allows the building department to verify property lines, easements, utility setbacks, drainage areas, and existing structures before issuing a permit.

A survey helps ensure your new enclosure is built in the correct location and complies with all local zoning requirements. It also protects homeowners from potential issues that could arise if a structure is placed too close to a property line, utility easement, or other restricted area.
