SOS Septic & Sewer is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in the Highlands County area. If you take pride in precision work and have the credentials to haul your own equipment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform precise final grading for septic installations, drainage systems, and site prep.
• Safely operate excavators, skid steers, and other earthmoving equipment.
• Drive and transport equipment/materials to various local job sites.
Requirements:
• Proven experience with final grading (ability to read grade stakes is a must).
• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and with a crew.

With rising costs everywhere, it would be easy to follow the trend, but that’s not who we are.

At SOS Septic & Sewer, we made a conscious decision to hold our pricing on fill, clay, and septic sand when we reviewed rates on January 1st, 2026. And we don’t plan on revisiting that until January 1st, 2027.

No surprises. No mid-year increases. Just honest pricing for our community.

Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just business, it’s our community.
