Hayrides are making their comeback this weekend (10/3 & 10/4) and next (10/10 & 10/11). They will run from 10am - 2pm on Saturday and 11am - 2pm on Sunday. Rides will load on the top of every hour. We hope to see you there!

Evergreen designed and installed a rain garden in Providence earlier this week just in time for the weekend Nor’easter!

After excavation of a swale is contoured leading from a newly paved and sloping driveway to the side yard. Native shrubs that tolerate wet soil are planted at the top of the basin.

Native perennials are planted in the bottom, sides and top of the water-retention basin.

Finished plantings.

Sod is installed to slow the flow of water from the impervious asphalt driveway.

Sod installation is complete.

The completed rain garden will collect rainwater runoff from the driveway, providing infiltration where the water will slowly soak into the soil.

Gardeners created their own displays, yesterday morning, in bushel baskets filling them with fall flowers, grasses and decorations.

Fall is for planting and from now until the end of the season all perennials are 25% off. With the exception of Proven Winner perennials they are 20% off.

Sign ups for the fall container classes are happening now. Make your own bushel basket with an assortment of colorful fall annuals. Classes will be held on Saturday 9/19 and Saturday 9/26 at 10 am for $65 a person. Call or send us a message if you want to sign up.
