NOW HIRING – OFFICE / DISPATCH / CUSTOMER SERVICE
Burke Plumbing & Yakima Glass are seeking a dependable, organized, and experienced individual to join our office team.
This position assists with daily office operations, customer service, scheduling, dispatching, and accounting support. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a professional office environment and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced service-based business.
Responsibilities include:
• Answering incoming calls and assisting customers
• Scheduling service appointments
• Dispatching technicians and managing daily schedules
• Entering and maintaining accurate customer and job information
• Communicating with customers and field technicians
• Processing paperwork and assisting with general office duties
• Assisting with invoicing, payments, and account management
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties
• Providing after-hours on-call coverage as part of a required rotating schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous professional office, dispatch, or customer service experience
• Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable experience
• QuickBooks experience
• Experience using dispatching or field-service management software
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Professional phone and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience in the plumbing, construction, or service industry is a plus
